At 1:03pm on August 21, 2008, Joe said…: Festival was fantastic! Slept in a farmers field in the back of the truck on a very comfortable 8 inch air mattress. Some very nice surprizes like Oscar Lopez, The Felice Brothers, The Strangelings, and Samuel James. Went to work Monday morning - my butt is still dragging. One medical issue is serious but not life-threatening; the other is a ventral umbilical hernia which will have to wait until the other concers is attended. Otherwise, I'm doing very well. I'm off next week and going to the beach (hopefully Tuesday through Friday) after golf on Monday; I'll give you a call from the beach. (I am going to paint a bathroom as a token to my domestic obligation before embarking on R&R.) (The only way to eat a elephant is one bite at a time.) Hope all is well with You, Otto and the kids. ...been missing You. joe
